How can I get help from God?

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Once we know that God cares and that God loves us, we need to come to him and ask for his help. We call this Prayer. Prayer is simply "talking to God" and the Bible encourages us to do this.

Hebrews 4:16 says, "Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."

And in 1 Peter 5:7 we are told to "Cast all your anxiety on him [Jesus] because he cares for you."

Philippians 4:6-7 says "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Grace Church is a church made up of ordinary people who have experienced God's help in various ways. We have seen all sorts of wonderful answers to prayer and have all benefited at different times from the prayers of others. We meet regularly to pray together. If you are in Cyprus and would like us to pray for you about anything, you are welcome to send us a prayer request by email to colinandjane@cytanet.com.cy and we will be happy to include it in our prayer meeting.

For practical reasons we have to restrict these prayer requests to people from Cyprus, but if you would like prayer where you live please look at the church directory on the
Newfrontiers web page.

Why is this happening to me?
Can anyone help, is God really there?
Does God really care?
How can I get help from God?

Grace Church is part of the  newfrontiers family of churches & a member of the Cyprus Evangelical Alliance
It is a registered charity with the Cyprus Government.
